The living room has an entertainment center with a flat screen TV, swivel driver's chair and a sofa that opens into a bed. There's a pull-down second bed and more. The kitchen area includes a refrigerator, microwave oven, built-in sink, and pull-down dinette table. There's also a bathroom with a toilet and built-in sink. Pull down the back of the motor home for a fabulous hot tub that lights up and has fun party music, too. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, not included. Dolls not included.

Uh-oh, has Barbie gotten herself into hot water? Yes, literally! Our leggy friend's latest acquisition is a party RV with built-in hot tub. Now, any time they want, Barbie and her pals (dolls not included) can call "road trip" and away they'll go. All the comforts of, well, a luxury hotel! The big pink bus opens up on one side to reveal kitchenette with stovetop, oven, microwave, fridge, sink, cabinets, and table. The second room is a combination living room/bedroom, with a sofa that expands to become a bed, closet, bookshelves, and lots of knick-knacks (boom box, potted plant, fuzzy pink pillows, etc.). There's also a bathroom behind the kitchen, complete with toilet (you can lift the seat), sink, shower, toilet roll, towel rack, and fabric towel. Exhausted by all these amenities? Open the outside wall of the RV to find, under a canopy, a hot tub with removable basin—you can really add water for Barbie water play! Watch the lights flash and listen to the Jacuzzi bubbling, party music blaring, horn honking, and microwave beeping. There are so many small details and knick-knacks; girls will have no problem entertaining themselves for hours at a time with Barbie's RV. Got this for my daughters 8 year birthday. I opened this to get it ready (i.e. put in batteries,apply stickers,check for quality)for my daughters birthday this weekend, because of all the negative reviews I wanted to check it out before I gave it to her. Well to my amazement, its awesome! Everything is right there and you can fold it up and put it away, no big dollhouse mess, no fifty million little pieces...It's all connected and folds up into one piece. I can't wait to pretend its an RV and take her little Barbie family to a pretend camp ground and set up shop. Now only two people can fit in the front chairs which by the way turn around completely so that you can use them as chairs in the living room also. So cool! There is a bunk bed also so you could have sleepovers! Don't forget the pretend pool birthday parties complete with music for those Kelly dolls!
The only negative I would say is that couch/bed thing which is poorly made. I will be calling Mattel for replacement piece.
I would not recommend for a child under at least 7. I noticed my daughter within this past year has gotten more gentler with her things. This is for the advanced Barbie player that is into setting up the smaller pieces just perfect. (Ladies you remember those days) This is definetly not for the younger girls just getting into Barbie with rougher hands for those I would recommend a wooden doll house that is much sturdier. WE have been through all differant kinds of dollhouses for every differant stage and I can honestly speak from experience. This is a pretty good piece for my daughters age and I believe will get lots of playtime!

I got this from Santa and its the BEST I am very gentle with it and I love all the suprises! I play with it when ever i can!
THE ASSOCERIES ARE IN THE HOT TUB!Remember that I was scared when I couldn't find mine!

I ordered this item for my 5 -soon to be 6 yr old daughter for Christmas on 12/20/06. I assumed it wouldn't arrive until after Christmas, so I wrote a letter from Santa saying the elves were still working on it & it would arrive soon - but to my surprise, it arrived before Christmas - My daughter loves it - it has lots of cool features - music & lights for the hot tub, the horn & microwave work, etc - the sofa is a little hard to put together and to stay put together, but other than that, it's alot of fun. And the dolls can still sit on the sofa, just have to fiddle with it to make it into a bed - thats OK, It has a bathroom with shower, kitchen with refrig., table & chair, and comes with lots of fun accessories like a laptop, vase & flowers, food for the refrig.,etc - Her friends (& their moms!) also love playing with it when they come over - I highly recommend this product!

This van is great. Took about 1 hour to get all the stickers on, batteries in, the many little parts in their areas etc. but wow! When we hit the button for the hot tub I laughed out loud. It's great! Looks like barbie's gonna have a HOT time in the hot tub w/Ken. It has 3 different songs and a great light show too! The kitchen has areas with sound too, and many areas open up to make it more realistic. The bathroom is a bit small, but has areas that open up too.
All in all, I hesitated at the price when the little one asked for it, but I'd say it's well worth the money due to all the realistic details, lights, and appears to be pretty durable. Love the furry pillows too!
